100 Days!

I can't believe that we only have 100 days until our due date!  Time is flying!  Bruno and I are soaking up every moment that we have together because we know June will come fast!

I LOVE being pregnant!  I am so grateful that the second trimester has been enjoyable.  I know moms that are sick the whole nine months and they are my heros because I can only imagine how hard that must be.  My favorite part is obviously feeling him move!  Bruno and I both have been able to feel him for the past month or so and every day he gets stronger and stronger!  Feeling his movement keeps me entertained all day (and sometimes all night) long! haha  It's fun to be reminded that he's there.  I have a hard time getting up in the mornings because he will usually start moving as I'm waking up and I hate not being able to just lay in bed and enjoy it.  I know we'll adjust, but I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to leave him after he's born!

Another part I love about being pregnant is being able to wear maternity clothes!  How do women go back to their regular clothes after giving birth?  Maternity clothes are sooooo comfortable and luckily I was able to find some outfits that weren't too expensive!  It's still hard to believe that I'm growing a little human and that people are noticing!

There are only a few things that make pregnancy uncomfortable.  Not being able to sleep on my back or belly is one of them.  I can't wait to be able to do that again!  Every once in a while, I'll get a really bad charlie horse in the middle of the night and it hurts like crazy!  Or sometimes, I'll all of a sudden feel winded or out of breath, like I just ran for a long time.  However, for the most part, I'm able to do the things I need to do, so I can't complain.

Coming up, Bruno and I will be taking a birthing class starting at the end of the month.  I'm excited for that!  One of my best friends and her mom will be throwing a shower at the end of April.  They are so sweet to offer and I know it'll be so fun!  I can't wait to start putting his room together.  We are grateful for this journey and we look forward to seeing what the next 100+ days bring!

I also have to give a quick shout out to Bruno.  Anytime I need something, he's on it.  Today I was cleaning and I mentioned that my stomach kind of hurt.  He took the washcloth out of my hand and told me to rest for a minute while he finished what I was doing.  If I say I'm hungry for something in particular, he goes out and gets it.  He researches and reads about breast feeding, car seats, and all things pregnancy/baby related. He has opinions about our birth plan and is happy to be involved in birthing classes.  He often has his own list of questions for the doctor.  It embarrasses me sometimes because I'm sure he knows more about this process than I do.  He freaked out the other day when we were on massage chairs and someone told me that I should be careful.  I know he only wants what's best and it's great to see how awesome of a father he already is.  I'm so lucky!!

Here's to the last two weeks of the second trimester!!
